Study Tour of organic cultivation in Cuba 22nd Nov to 6 December 2008
Those of you who enjoyed the film "The Power of Community" at our Transition Town Berkhamsted launch event, may be interested in this opportunity to see it all on the ground in Cuba. There will be a Study Tour of organic cultivation in Cuba 22nd Nov to 6 December 2008, led by Wendy Emmett, organised by COSG- Cuba Organic Support Group. Wendy Emmett is a keen environmentalist. COSG was formed by members of the study tour organised by Garden Organic some years ago and they have organised tours every year since then. Wendy Emmett can be contacted at wendyemmett@hotmail.com
Details are also available at Cuba Travel Shop.
However, Transition Town Berkhamsted would urge anyone to consider their carbon footprint carefully before deciding to travel to Cuba.
